Please submit a trouble ticket to us via support@powervps.com and we'll take a look into it.

Hi there,
I don't show that we've terminated ANY accounts this morning. And we certanly do not directly contact your customers regarding accounts.
If we had to take any action on your server (say one of your customers had an ebay pishing scheme on they're site and we disabled it)... we would contact YOU to notify the customer.
This sounds like a spam/virus going around. I would suggest checking the mail headers to confirm this. If you need a hand, contact support. But I know it would not be us directly contacting your customer (we don't even have they're contact info if we wanted to, lol).

Ok, he hadn't got headers w/ the e mail so I'm going into his accounts. I have to meet w/ him in just a little bit about 29 accounts! Security scan on WHM is showing trojans but I dunno if those are false alerts or what.

I know it's not y'all, or me and it's a virus which I've traced one of the IP's back to an employee of his that uses outlook. This is getting to be a nightmare......this man spends MEGA bucks for me to design and host his sites. Lol, I'm sweating!

If you want, you can ban that IP from your server. If you need a hand with that, let us know. Once that IP is banned, they will not be able to send mail to your server.

Sending a ticket.it's sending mail to every bogus name in the world. I have it set for stray e mails to go to this account(long story, lol dummies that can't spell Tunica) I thought we'd already banned the IP and I alerted the employee to clean his computer and then give me a call but nothing seems to be working.

Support wonderful as always!
it looks like a virus... one i could remember who has this type of behavior is mytob... but i heard he was sending himself to contacts of the victim ...
I wonder what was the problem ? and was it solved by banning the ip ?
