Hello,

Has anyone tried both solutions and how do their experiences of them compare up with each other?

Right now, I'm using Rvskin's Antispam/Antivirus solution and it seems to be doing a real nifty job, having stopped test viruses and spam.

However it seems that two of the addons, Razor and DCC seem to now be only usable if it's not for commercial purposes based on their new licensing scheme. Does Mailscanner use distributive systems such as Razor and DCC for its spam tagging as well, and how is the licensing scheme like?

Another thing which I'm not able to figure out yet is how to have a decent report overview over what's being filtered by the Antispam/Antivirus, apart from inspecting thru the ever-increasing exim and clam log files. I have a very basic script that does a count of spam and virus being filtered but that's about it. How does Mailscanner compare here?

Also, I've set Rvskin to be at server-wide level, and also disabling user-level personalisation of SpamAssassin as I understand that would take up a lot of resources. Has anyone implemented a user-level personalisation of SA and how does the memory usage compare to that of Mailscanner which I hear, can be tweaked down to each individual user, is that true?

I would deeply appreciate any insights as I am at my wits' end.

Thank you so much.
